CMAA Softwares is the product arm of CMAA Advisors, an accounting, compliance, payroll, and recruitment firm operating out of Bengaluru, Kadur, and Madikeri. We are not a software vendor guessing at your workflow. We are closing books, running payroll, and filling roles the same week we ship a feature, and every product we build has to survive contact with that reality first.
How CMAA Softwares started
CMAA Advisors began in 2013 as an accounting and compliance practice in Bengaluru. Recruitment joined the practice in 2019, and that is where this story really starts. Running recruitment desks for clients meant juggling a patchwork of job boards, spreadsheets, and email threads, the same mess most small teams deal with. Rather than keep working around it, we built a plugin that ran hiring directly from WordPress, for our own use first.
Once that internal tool was solid enough to rely on every day, it became obvious other teams had the exact same problem. In 2025 we spun the software work into its own company, CMAA Softwares, and in 2026 CMAA Recruit launched publicly as its first product.
That is still how CMAA Softwares works today. Every product on our roadmap exists because someone inside CMAA Advisors hit a wall often enough that building a real fix made more sense than working around it again.
CMAA Advisors is not a side project attached to CMAA Softwares. It is the working accounting, compliance, payroll, and recruitment practice that every product here has to survive first. The same CMAA Advisors team still runs that full practice today, covering payroll, statutory compliance, and recruitment support for small and mid sized firms across Bengaluru, Kadur, and Madikeri. That advisory work is still the proving ground for everything CMAA Softwares ships, which is why every CMAA Advisors client indirectly shapes the products on this page before anyone outside the firm ever sees them.
